GP125 AC & GP 200 LC arrive in UK
Late July saw the arrival into the UK of the first GP models from Royal Alloy, first out of the box was the GP 125 AC, the one we cose to unbox was a striking Flame Red, it had the first impression of a somehow larger bike, possibly the bright in your face solid colour had something to do with that?
The next noticeable feature was the 'new car smell' in large part due to the supple, soft to touch dual seats, immediately after the senses have taken these details in, we started to look a little deeper and the quality of the finish was pleasing to see.
Then we unboxed the GP 200 in White, well what a revelation this scooter is. We had become accustomed to the prototype GP that we have had knocking around HQ for the last year or so but what came out of the crate is just miles apart in quality, as well as the finish that we had now expected after inspecting the 125, the feel is substantial, the componentary has a look of crafted aftermarket items & the way it sits suggests movement while stationary.
It all bodes well for the future when the Now exceeds expectation in all aspects, already fast becoming a Name within the scootering fraternity the GP's just made a big play that could be a real game changer in retro style scooters.
